Elphinstone Point Mahabaleshwar   |   Hill Station

Description

This is one of the tourist attractions points. In 1830 Dr Murray discovered this point and named it after the then Governor of Bombay, Sir Mount Stuart Elphinston.

From this point, you can view many hill ranges descending into Konkan, broken slopes, lush vegetation, and forest at the foothills. Pratapgarh fort is visible from this point, too.
