Description

Ozarde Waterfalls is located in the Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary of the Satara district. Surrounded by thick forests, it is an ideal destination for a day-long picnic.

Ozarde Waterfall is in the national forest preserve area that is replete with many Ayurvedic plants, trees and herbs.

The water is clean and cool and believed to possess medicinal properties. One has to trek for about 45 minutes through dense forest to reach the waterfall, crossing many small streams where one can take a break to play in the water.
