Description

This point was named 'Arthur's Seat' after Sir Arthur Mallet. A gallery has been constructed here for tourists. On the way to this point is a tank called Tiger Spring. It is said that the name is given because tigers and leopards came here to drink water at night.

Malcolm Point, Castle Rock, Monkey Point, Marjory Point, and Savitri Point can be seen on the way to Mahabaleshwar from Arther’s Seat. Echoes can be heard from Echo point on this road.
