Description


There is a Mausoleum of Brahmachaitanya Gondawalekar Maharaj and Ram Mandir at Gondawale on the banks of Manganga. Gondawale village is 60 km from Satara on the Satara-Pandharpur Road.

The mausoleum of Gondawalekar Maharaj is large and attractive, the Maharaja's mausoleum is in the basement. On top of the Mausoleum temple is the temple of Gopalkrishna. Behind the temple is Tulsi Vrindavan. Beside it, there is a mausoleum of Maharaja's mother in a large pavilion. Mahaprasad is offered here to the devotees every day throughout the year.

The temple premises are always overflowing with devotees. Gondawale is a place of worship for many devotees, apart from mausoleum temple, the younger Ram temple and Shani temple are also worth seeing in the village.
