Takawali / Sandavli Waterfall Didhavale, Satara   |   Waterfall and village

Description

Sandavali Waterfall is famous for being a challenge to brave trekkers. After coming to Parli from Satara, a road on the left side of the back of the village leads to the villages of Punwad, Dahiwad, and Nitral near the Urmodi Dam. From this village to the right, a seven-and-a-half-kilometre unpaved road leads to Nigudamal village.

The Sandavali Waterfall begins to come into view from the end of this village. Nigudmal is a village of about 60-70 homes. After 20-25 minutes from the village towards the farm, one can cross the waters of Sandavali and Kelavali waterfalls, which are thirty meters long and one and a half meters deep, and reach the Sandavali Waterfall.

On top of the plateau from which this waterfall gushes down, is situated the village of Sandavali.

From Sandavali, you can see Sandavali Waterfall on the left and Kelavali waterfall on the right. Adventurous trekkers can experience the real joy of trekking at this place.
